Composition: 90% cotton, 10% polyamide

Cotton chambray (pronounced shom-bray) is a lightweight cotton fabric that at first glance resembles denim (i.e., denim material), but is noticeably thinner and more breathable. Most often the warp remains white, while the weft is dyed, giving the material its characteristic, slightly muted shade. The fabric is woven in a plain weave, in which the threads cross alternately, forming a uniform, smooth, and durable texture rather than the diagonal like denim. Because of this, chambray is soft, skin-friendly, and durable, and its lightness makes it ideal for clothing for warmer days.
