Italian 100% silk fabric of shantung type in dark beige color. The fabric is smoother with delicate bumps. It is opaque, non-stretchy, drapes rather stiffly, and is very elegant. It is excellent for evening gowns, skirts, blouses, and also jackets.

Note! The fabric has numerous irregular bumps, tiny lines, and knots characteristic of the raw shantung weave. This is not a defect of the fabric and is not subject to reklamation.

Shantung is a type of silk fabric made from raw yarn, with irregularly distributed, grainy bumps (yarn ornamentally spun) in the weft. It has a slightly stiff, plastic structure. Suitable for garments as well as interior decoration - curtains, cushions, etc. It is dyed naturally, therefore we only clean it dry-cleaning.
