Italian fabric 100% silk of the shimmering type in a light camel color. The fabric is smoother with delicate raised areas. It is opaque, non-elastic, drapes rather stiffly, and is very elegant. It is excellent for evening gowns, skirts, blouses, and also jackets.

Note! The fabric has numerous irregular raised areas, tiny lines, and knots characteristic for the rough twisted warp of shantung. This is not a defect of the fabric and is not subject to claims.

Shantung is a type of silk fabric made from raw yarn, with irregularly distributed, mottled lumps (yarn artificially spooled) in the weft. It has a slightly stiff, pliable structure. Suitable for both clothing and interior decoration - curtains, cushions, etc. It is naturally dyed, therefore we clean it only with dry chemical cleaning.
