Velour is a thin variety of velvet. On the one hand, it has a low, soft and fluffy coat, often called a fuzz. Most types of fabrics are created by interweaving two threads in a specific way. In the case of velvets, we are dealing with an additional four threads that form a fleece. They are inserted between two mainly threads in the form of cut (sheared velvet) or uncut (loop velvet) loops. This is what makes this material so soft and very pleasant to the touch. Thanks to a specific weaving method, it is also distinguished by its deep shine and reflects light beautifully!
