Cotton knit with added elastane is a high-quality material that combines the natural softness of cotton with stretch for comfort and a flattering fit. The fabric comes in an elegant bitter chocolate shade — a deep, cool brown that gives garments a timeless, refined look. The surface features a classic rib about 0.6 cm wide, accentuating the material’s subtle texture and modern appearance.

This material is ideal for sewing fitted dresses, tops, turtlenecks, tunics, skirts, leggings, tracksuit sets, cardigans, bodysuits and comfortable everyday wear. Thanks to its elasticity it’s also perfect for figure-hugging garments that allow complete freedom of movement and high wearing comfort.

The knit is composed of 95% cotton and 5% elastane with a grammage of 300 g/m²; it is soft, pleasant to the touch and very comfortable to wear. The high cotton content provides excellent breathability and ventilation, while the elastane increases resilience and helps the fabric return to its original shape. Due to its high grammage the knit is durable, opaque and drapes beautifully on the body, making it suitable for clothing for cooler days as well as high-quality year-round projects.
