The lace on both sides is finished with a decorative tooth – we sew it around the edge. The fabric is soft, non-elastic, and transparent. Fabrics of this lace type resemble embroidery a bit, although the technique of making them is completely different. Modern guipures are most often made from polyester or elastane. This makes them very versatile and easy to care for. Very often, guipure is used to adorn clothing – shorts, blouses, or dresses.
