Italian fabric 100% silk Shantung type in burgundy color, made from two colors of thread - red and black, creating a two-tone. Smoother fabric with subtle lumps. It is opaque, non-stretch, drapes rather stiffly and is very elegant. It is perfect for evening dresses, skirts, blouses, and also jackets.

Note! The fabric has numerous irregular lumps, fine lines, and knots characteristic of the raw Shantung weave. This is not a defect of the fabric and is not subject to reklamation.

Shantung is a type of silk fabric made from raw yarn, with characteristic irregularly distributed, grainy lumps (yed skein unevenly spun) in the thread. It has a slightly stiff, pliable structure. Suitable for both clothing and interior decoration - curtains, cushions, etc. It is dyed naturally, therefore we clean it only dry chemically.
